I can’t wear my denture – what can I do?
Over the years we have had numerous people come into our clinic and say “I have had this denture made elsewhere but I can’t wear it. Is there anything you can do?”
To be honest, it depends. Sometimes we can modify the denture and make it fit better, sometimes the only option is a new one. Until we look at the denture in your mouth we cannot say what we can do.
We are always willing to have a look at your denture if it does not fit. So if you are in this situation, then book a consultation which is approximately a 30 minute appointment and costs £25. Wayne will give you his honest opinion as to what he can and cant do and how much it will cost. Sometimes, if it is a modification, it can be done there and then.
A good fitting denture, should enhance your smile, support any remaining teeth you may have and fit well.
A bad fitting denture, can lead to further tooth loss, you can loose your confidence or be embarrassed about going out for a meal with family and friends.
